Video: Paul Pogba fires home as France take huge step towards World Cup glory

Paul Pogba scored a key goal for France against Croatia in the 2018 World Cup final in Russia, handing them a 3-1 lead.

In a thrilling encounter between the two sides, it was raining goals in Moscow with a Mario Mandzukic own goal and Antoine Griezmann penalty giving France the lead after an Ivan Perisic equaliser.

Despite a sharp start from Croatia in the second half, it was France who took a commanding lead as after Pogba saw his initial effort charged down, he kept his composure to drill his second shot into the back of the net, as seen in the video below.

It was a top finish from the Manchester United ace, with Kylian Mbappe scoring a fourth for France just minutes later before a major Hugo Lloris blunder gave Mandzukic a goal at the right end to give Croatia slim hope in the latter stages of the game.

However, it was a huge moment for Pogba who will cherish scoring a goal in a World Cup final.
