Real Madrid star set to seak January transfer away should key factor stay the same

Real Madrid and Spain winger Lucas Vazquez is reportedly set to seek a transfer away from the club in January should his role under boss Julen Lopetegui not change.

This is according to Don Balon, who note that the Spanish international has not been given the role that he would like by new manager Lopetegui, and that he will open to offers in the winter transfer window should the Spaniard’s role in Real’s squad stay the same.

Real fans certainly won’t be happy to hear this news, as Vazquez has proven to be a valuable player for the club these past few years.

Vazquez wants out of Real if he’s not given a bigger role in Lopetegui’s side

The 27-year-old, who has come through the youth ranks with the Spanish giants, has made a total of 138 appearances for the club’s first team, with a large part of these coming in the past two seasons.

Vazquez has managed to clock up 103 appearances in all competitions these last two years, bagging 12 goals and 30 assists in that time period.

The Spaniard’s presence of the bench for Los Blancos has been one of the reasons as to why the club have managed to win two Champions League title and a La Liga title in the past two seasons.

Losing Vazquez would be a big blow for Real, so Lopetegui may want to rethink the role he was for the winger this season to avoid losing him in the January window.
