Sky Sports reporter says Tottenham full-back could leave in summer

Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge says Conte will be looking to sign a full-back this summer with Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty set to make way.

Emerson Royal has failed to make an impact since his £25.8m move from Barcelona, while Matt Doherty has recently found his form but suffered a knee injury which will keep him out for the season.

“I feel that one of Doherty or [Emerson] Royal won’t be at the club next season, I think Spurs will look to add someone in that position. Playing for their futures might be a bit strong, but Spurs will look to add someone.” said Bridge for GiveMeSport.

The 30-year-old had started seven games in a row for Spurs as Conte team enjoyed a great set of results which helped the team leapfrog Arsenal in the race for top four.

Meanwhile Emerson Royal has been heavily criticised this season for his poor defending which led to many points dropped for Spurs this season.
