According to a report from The Sun, Jesse Marsch wants Southampton attacker Che Adams as next signing at Leeds United.

The Yorkshire club has been very active this transfer window after selling Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, but they are yet to sign a striker to compete with Patrick Bamford upfront.

Leeds are ready to offer £10m for Scotland international after missing out on Charles De Ketelaere and the board believes deal could be strucked by next week.

Marsch is keen to bolster the attack considering Bamford’s history with injuries which could leave the club with only youngsters like Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood in attack.

The 26-year-old Adams has failed to bring his goalscoring prowess from Championship. The striker has scored only 20 goals and 10 assists in Premier League since his move from Birmingham City.
