According to The Athletic, Leeds defender Pascal Struijk is poised to start first game of the season at left-back position.

The Dutch star was used in left flank in last pre-season game against Cagiari in absence of Junior Firpo, who is set to miss the game against Wolves next weekend.

The Yorkshire club registered a nice 6-2 win, with new signing Brenden Aaronson bagging three assists.

The 22-year-old is a very versatile player and one of favourite players of Jesse Marsch, he is mainly a central defender but can play as a defensive midfielder as well.

The 6ft 3in star was one of the most used player last season, appearing in 31 games in all competitions and helping the team survive in relegation battle.
