Moyes will be given a choice to sign another striker if Antonio leaves

In the midst of Michail Antonio rumors, West Ham has reportedly promised to provide David Moyes a new striker in January, according to Claret & Hugh.

The Hammers forward is apparently open to leaving the London Stadium and ready for a fresh challenge. Wolves has also expressed interest in him for a January transfer, but an offer has been rejected.

The report from Claret & Hugh says: “The pair have been offered a striker by the board which may or may not be a priority requirement although it could easily be based on inside knowledge that Mikey Antonio is unhappier than has been made clear publicly.”

Given that Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca have not been in great form thus far this season and that the club is serious about addressing the problem, it is encouraging that the manager has the choice to sign another striker before deadline day.
