29-year-old could still leave Newcastle in last hours of transfer window

Eddie Howe admits Javier Manquillo could leave the club in the last hours of transfer window.

The Spaniard was spotted at Newcastle training ground on Friday but a potential exit can’t be rule out with plenty of hours left before deadline.

The 29-year-old is still injured and is yet to feature this season for Newcastle United.

Howe told The Gazette: “At this moment in time I’m focusing on the next game and I don’t quite know what’s happening with every transfer out.

“Hopefully we can keep Javier.”
