49ers keen to agree multiple new deals this summer at Leeds United

According to Pete O’Rourke, the 49ers are willing to open the wallet and extend new contracts to many key players. In his report, O’Rourke names Patrick Bamford, Illan Meslier, Crysencio Summerville, and Dan James as players who Leeds wants to extend beyond this season.

Leeds supporters will be pleased over Summerville’s inclusion because the winger was connected to several teams in January and will probably be on the radar of Premier League teams come summertime.

Summerville is a top-tier talent who has turned the Championship into his playground, so it’s understandable why some of Europe’s best clubs are keeping an eye on him.

The 49ers are also trying to arrange a permanent signing for Joe Rodon. The Welshman arrived in  Yorkshire this summer on a loan from Spurs, and his parent club is requesting between £10 million and £15 million fee for him.
