Liverpool line-up move for Bundesliga super star

Liverpool are now reportedly in the running to sign Spanish attacking midfielder Dani Olmo in the upcoming summer window but may face competition from several Premier League clubs.

The Merseyside club are set for a massive overhaul over the summer with Jurgen Klopp set to depart the club at the end of the season after an incredible nine years in charge.

Despite their good performances this season that saw them challenging for the title, until they fell of in April, there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding several players with Mohamed Salah’s future at Anfield in question.

Their injury issues this season have also exposed the fact that they still require depth in the middle of the park and they need a creative player who can help spark the attack.

Liverpool target Dani Olmo

According to a report from Sport via Team Talk, the Reds have set their sights on Spanish attacking midfielder Olmo who has impressed in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons.

The 26-year-old came up through the Barcelona’s coveted La Masia but left in 2014 to join Dinamo Zagreb before signing for RB Leipzig in 2020.

As per the report, Liverpool aren’t the only side interested in his signature with Manchester United and Tottenham two more clubs interested in the Spanish international.

Olmo reportedly has a £51.5 million release clause in his contract, considering his incredible talents, that would represent a bargain in today’s transfer market.
