Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has had a bit of a rough season. In and out of the team at the start of the season, consistently tabbed a mega-flop, and basically looking a shadow of his former self. But a recent upturn in form, and goals, put him back in Jose Mourinho’s side and he’s looked an important cog as they push Manchester United to the end for the Premiership title.
Hilariously Sadly, it couldn’t last and the man they call “Shevchenko-Bobenko” managed to slap himself into the spotlight in the FA Cup Semi Final against Blackburn for the wrong reasons once again – missing the ball completely when presented with an open goal and then proceeding to injure himself following up. Not entirely sure how long he’ll be out but it doesn’t really matter.
