Apparently Sheffield United’s desperation to avoid relegation has stretched to new heights.
Sky Sports reports that the club is trying to get the Premiership expanded to 21 teams just so they can stay up, since West Ham … err … were found guilty and were punished already? Something like that.
We think it’s getting a bit sad now, especially as they’re in a great position to come back up. Their squad hasn’t changed that much since they didn’t buy anyone, and so their players are already experienced and prepared to do well in the Championship. We don’t hear anyone from Watford or Charlton banging on about how unfair life is, so please just give it up before you embarrass yourselves any further. You would’ve just gone down next season anyway, why prolong the inevitable?
