Three Things You Learned This Weekend? (Part 9)

Everyone saw the Premiership matches they cared about, and it’s a rather lengthy process trudging through the match reports of every club that matters little to you – especially if you’re still carrying the stench of defeat.

So instead, after every round of matches here’s the chance for everyone to share the three things they learned from the weekend’s Premier League football. A sort of cheatsheet, only with more profanity.

This week it could be that Anderson may not be a total waste of money after all this season, that Chelsea’s football really doesn’t look much more exciting without Jose Mourinho, that Elano is already a shoe-in for buy of the season, Tottenham really shouldn’t try to defend for 30 minutes straight away to a Top Four team, or that Harry Redknapp is quietly building a bit of good team down there in Portsmouth.

But what the hell do we know, leave your thoughts in the comments.

Here’s a list of the results as a refresher:

Arsenal 3-2 Sunderland
Blackburn 2-1 Birmingham
Bolton 0-1 Chelsea
Fulham 0-2 Portsmouth
Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham
Man City 3-1 Middlesbrough
Newcastle 3-2 Everton
Reading 1-0 Derby
Aston Villa 1-0 West Ham
Man Utd 4-0 Wigan
