Ex Chelsea “Special One” DOES Want England’s “Special Job”

So after all the whining from the press that Jose Mourinho would be perfect for the England job if only he actually wanted to come, it turns out that he does!
The Observer is reporting that, in classic Mourinho style, the Special One is determined to stay silent until he receives an approach from the FA.
The Observer’s Duncan Castles writes:

“Mourinho believes he could extract the best from an England squad regularly labelled world-class despite rarely delivering performances to match. He has also worked with the six current England players at Chelsea and is confident that his preparatory methods and tactical intelligence would have an immediate impact.”

Although Mourinho is reported to have said that international management is ‘an old man’s job’, the Observer reckons that Mourinho would make an exception for England, a ‘close confidante’ said:

“It’s special because it’s England, normally you go to international football when you’re older, but with England there is a different motivation, different players. It’s a special country with a special culture of football. He would welcome the chance to speak to the FA about this job.”

So what is the FA waiting for, sign him up!
