You do have to wonder how this was allowed to happen. Bayern Munich’s kit sponsors are of course adidas, hard to miss that when you are holding the adidas branded club shirt in your hands. However somehow during the official unveiling of the most expensive German player ever no one noticed that Mario Goetze was wearing a Nike T-Shirt. We are not talking about a plain T-Shirt with a small insignificant logo in the corner that someone might miss, this is a T-Shirt with a massive logo emblazoned across the entire garment.
Bayern Munich have since apologised to Adidas but probably did so over the phone whilst decked out head to toe in Nike apparel.
