Some of it is pretty grainy but you quickly get an idea of just how brilliant the mercurial Argentine was.
Playing against a bunch of thugs (some of the attempted fouls on Maradona are almost as impressive as his skills) on a series of terrible pitches, the diminutive forward makes the beautiful game look easy.
His pace, balance, skill and control are breathtaking, and the goal he scores at around 2.57 is probably one the best this blogger has ever seen.
