Santos Laguna has been eliminated for the Copa MX.
The Copa MX will have a new champion this season after reigning champions Santos Laguna drew 2-2 against Ronaldinho’s Queretaro in the TSM Stadium and were consequently eliminated in the group stage.

Queretaro took the lead through Sepulveda after fifteen minutes, but Javier Orozco equalised in the 33rd minute. It was the first goal Queretaro ‘keeper Edgar Hernandez had conceded in 303 minutes in the Copa MX.
Colombian Andres Renteria thought he’d won it for Santos with ten minutes remaining, however, Queretaro scored again in the 86th minute thanks to Sepulveda’s second of the night.
The result meant Queretaro won their group with 15 points, four clear of Santos in second.
