We all remember his incensed gilet throw last season, right? Just over a year ago, he was so frustrated at his misfiring Tottenham side’s feeble efforts in their north London derby defeat against Arsenal that he tore off his famed bodywarmer and hurled it to the ground.

Well gilet fans look away now as he’s done it again, only this time in celebration. Having been tasked with saving the Villans from Premier League relegation, he can’t have been happy at going a goal down after seven minutes against Queen’s Park Rangers. His emotions changed quickly though – Christian Benteke equalised at Villa Park only three minutes later to drag his side back into the game, prompting delight from Sherwood.

So much so, that he tore off his gilet and threw it to the ground.
