The Blues are considering improving their attack even further next season, despite Eden Hazard claiming the PFA Player of the Year award and starring alongside the likes of Oscar, Willian and Diego Costa as Jose Mourinho’s side close in on a Premier League title win.

Still, January signing Juan Cuadrado has not had the best of times at Stamford Bridge since his move, and players like Loic Remy have struggled with injury, meaning there could also be room for a player of Griezmann’s ability.

The French international is a prolific scorer from out wide, netting 25 goals in all competitions this season, and it may be that Mourinho would decide to use him upfront as an alternative to Costa, also formerly of Atletico.

According to the Daily Express, Chelsea could pay as much as £43m to land the highly-rated 24-year-old.
