According to Sport Witness, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has grown discontent with a lack of first-team opportunities in Lombardy and is believed to be considering his options.

The player’s agent Vincenzo Rispoli, speaking to FC Inter News [via Tutto Mercato Web], has admitted that the player would move for the good of his career.

“Definitely, you want to play as a starter in the in the top division,” he began, “but we are not excluding the option of doing that overseas.

“I have to admit that we can choose between La Liga, the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

“[Have there been] offers in the past?” he continued, “it’s useless to discuss the past.

“Certainly, we are talking about two of the biggest clubs in the world [believed to be City and Barcelona according to TMW] but at that time, the situation was clear.

“As Inter didn’t want to lose him, he was considered unsellable.”

The Italian side may now be more inclined to sell the talented stopper to raise funds, particularly as Roberto Martinez looks to remould the squad in order to compete for the title [via Squawka].

The keeper moved to the club in 2011 from Livorno, but having not yet made a first-team appearance in the league, he is now looking to move on. Since transferring four years ago, the stopper has spent time on loan at his former club, Novara and, this season, with Chievo.

However, an opportunity may be forthcoming at Inter should incumbent Samir Handanovic leave the club. The Slovenian stopper only has one year left on his contract [via transfermarkt], but is reportedly being considered by Manchester United as a potential replacement for David De Gea should the Spain keeper move to Real Madrid according to the Daily Mail.

Speaking to FC Inter News [via Tribal Football] the player’s agent revealed that Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United had all made approaches for the talented stopper, but it remains to be seen if any of the trio retain an interest following Bardi’s recent inactivity.
