Manchester United and Chelsea flop scores his first hat-trick in four years as his re-invigoration continues

Radamel Falcao scored a hat-trick for Monaco today. According to Squawka, it was his first since the ninth of December 2012.

The Colombian is back to his brilliant best and Monaco are reaping the rewards. Falcao has scored ten goals and provided two assists in 11 Ligue 1 appearances so far this campaign. His electric form has fired his side right into contention for the title this campaign.

Falcao finally remembering how to play football will likely be a bitter pill to swallow for fans of Manchester United and Chelsea. After being continually linked with a move to the Premier League, he finally took the plunge in the summer of 2014, joining Manchester United on loan. He was not able to replicate anything near the sort of form that made many see him as one of the best strikers in the world and subsequently left a year on.

He then made a shock move to Chelsea, on loan once more. It was, however, a similar story. Falcao struggled to force his way into the starting eleven, and when he did – he was not able to match the performances of Diego Costa.

It is great to see him back to his best.
