Chelsea may hold the keys to a three-part transfer that could see Wolfsburg winger Julian Draxler join Real Madrid, report Tribal Football.
Tribal Football cite Don Balon who claim that Oscar’s impending transfer to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG could spark a transfer merry-go-round.
As per Don Balon, Oscar is leave to leave Stamford Bridge for a fee in the region of £58 million. Antonio Conte’s side will then look to use every penny of that to fund a £62 million move for unsettled Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez. Finally, Los Blancos will part with £25 million to replace Rodriguez with German winger Julian Draxler, who according to The Sun, is pushing for a move away from Wolfsburg.
In total, these three deals could be worth as much as £145 million. If Chelsea are able to sign Rodriguez in January ix exchange for a fringe player and £4 million, it will be a shrewd bit of business from Conte.
