Arsenal at serious risk of full-scale rebellion if they fall behind in the title race with a loss to West Brom today

After two painful defeats in a week, Arsenal fans’ frustration threatened to spill over last Sunday. It’s been a sore week without the chance to get back on the pitch to make things right, and now that chance has arrived they’ve found themselves up against the old enemy Tony Pulis – the man who would love more than anything to send the Emirates ballistic by smashing and grabbing a point or three.

Arsenal’s firepower should be enough to get them past the Baggies at home, but if there’s anything Arsene Wenger’s teams are known for it’s messing up games they should win against inferior opposition. West Brom have quietly developed into more than just a solid defensive unit over the course of this season, and represent a genuine threat in attack too now. They’ve scored 3 or more goals in 3 of their last games, and while that would be a tall order away against the Gunners, they may only need a goal to get something from the game if Ben Foster is in good form.
