Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp believes that Robert Lewandowski will be going nowhere this summer, talkSPORT reports.

The Polish international has become one of the most sought after players in the world this year and has been a known target of the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich this summer.

However, despite United eyeing him up as a replacement for Wayne Rooney, who has also been heavily linked with a move away this summer, it was Bayern Munich who were thought of as frontrunners to land his signature.

A deal between the two had thought to be in place, though Dortmund boss, Klopp, has denied that that is the case and firmly believes the 24-year-old will still be at the club next season.

“As of today there is no official offer from Bayern Munich. I am still assuming that Robert will play for us next season,” he said.

“We will see in the coming days to ensure that a line is drawn under all this speculation.

“We’ll see what happens, anything is possible. But I can work with all situations.

“The really funny thing is that everyone pretends as if the [move to Bayern] is already done.

“Jupp Heynckes says that, the agents say that – but we do not have an offer. What is that about?”
