Thomas Muller will be staying at Bayern Munich despite the interest of Manchester United, Goal.com reports.

Speculation has been building in Germany that the Red Devils may bid for the Bayern forward, who was a key member of the teams treble winning side scoring 13 goals during the season.

But Muller has said that he has no plans to move away from Munich and is looking forward to continuing the success the club has had over the last season.

“There are always enquiries, especially after a season like that,” said Muller. “However, I’m not thinking about leaving Bayern after this season.”

With Pep Guardiola taking over from Jupp Heycknes at the Allianz Arena, there could be more exciting times ahead for Bayern Munich fans.

Bayern have already started strengthening their squad for next season by signing Bourssia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze and speculation is rife that the club could add Dortmund’s Robert Lewandowski as well.

As for Manchester United, it looks like they will have to look elsewhere to improve their team for the coming season.

New manager David Moyes is also reportedly interested in Dortmund’s Lewandowski, as well as his former players at Everton, Maourne Fellani and Leighton Baines.
