India draw Pakistan in South Asia Cup

The draw for the SAFF (South Asia Football Federation) Championship was made today in Kathmandu, Nepal.

In Group A, Champions India have been drawn against Bangladesh, hosts Nepal and bitter rivals Pakistan, Group B consists of Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives.

The tournament will be played between the 1-11th September, India will play Pakistan in the Final Group game on September 5th.

All games, including the final, will be played at the 25,000 capacity Dasarath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu. In the 2011 final Sunil Chetri scored a Penalty in a 4-1 for India against Afghanistan.
