Malaysian Super League side welcome A Leaguers 

Johor Darul Takzim have announced a friendly against Perth Glory in preparation for the group stages of the Malaysia Cup.

The Western Australian side will play at the  Larkin stadium on August the 14th in what will also count as a pre-season build up game for the A-league side.

Glory Coach Alistair Edwards is held with much adoration in Malaysia, after having a hugely successful playing career in the country, helping Johor FA to the Super League Championship in 1991.He also had stints at Selangor and Sarawak and appeared four times for Millwall.

Rumours that JDT signing Pablo Aimar may start in this marquee friendly are as yet unconfirmed. Aimar now 33  who has played for Valencia, Zaragoza and Benefica, as well as racking up 52 caps for Argentinina and is the club’s biggest signing to date.
