Trinidadian Striker Signs for Lajong
The Eagle eyed among you may recognise Cornell Glen, The Trinidadian came on as a substitute against England in the 2006 World Cup, the year that footballing-wise Trinidad and Tobago was put on the map.
Glen has spent much of his career in The States, with stints at LA Galaxy, Columbus Crew and Metrostars ( New York Red Bulls), as well as spells in Portugal and his native Trinidad.
Speaking to the Times Of India The Greens new striker commented on the issues involved in moving to and playing in a new country.
“It’s going to be a challenge in terms of culture, it’s going to be a challenge in terms of the style of play.”
