Frenchman has been in north London for seven years now.

The in-demand France international’s current contract with the north London club runs out at the end of this season and as yet, both sides have been unable to come to any sort of agreement over extending the full back’s stay in the capital beyond the summer.

And that is because Sagna is demanding a new three-year contract from the Gunners, while the Premier League giants are only willing to offer the 30-year-old a two-year extension on his current deal.

Not only that, but the Frenchman is believed to also be seeking a pay rise on his current £70,000 per week wage packed, while Arsenal are not prepared to give the defender any increase on his present salary.

And with Sagna already in receipt of big-money contract offers from various clubs in the Middle East and China, as well as from the likes of Turkish champions Galatasaray and the mega-rich Ligue 1 duo of AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, the Gunners may struggle to keep hold of the player.
