Reports in Italy have claimed that the defending Serie A champions have stepped up their interest in the player after watching United try, and fail, to bring the player on board during the January transfer window.
Kroos is expected to be made available at the end of the season as his contract with the Bavarian megastars expires in 2015 and coach Pep Guardiola has been using him even more infrequently in the past few weeks.
The Italian sources claim that a bid of somewhere between €15-18m would be enough for Juve to complete a deal, and their task will be made even easier should David Moyes’ men fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Moyes has frequently set himself some rather ambitious transfer targets since taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson last summer, and aside from the surprise landing of Juan Mata last month he has missed out on virtually every player he has intended to bring in.
