The Reds lost key striker Luis Suarez during the summer with the Uruguay international moving to FC Barcelona, while Rodgers has also been unable to call upon England front man Daniel Sturridge in recent weeks after the former Chelsea star was injured while on international duty.

This has meant that the former Swansea City manager has had to blood lots of his new summer signings all at once, which might explain why his side have struggled so far this season.
