1) Jurgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund)

A manager who has shown himself capable of getting his teams to play good football AND win, Jurgen Klopp very much looks the ideal replacement for Arsene Wenger after his fine work with Borussia Dortmund, with whom he has won two Bundesliga titles and reached the Champions League final on a very limited budget.

2) Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid)

A more defensive-minded coach, but one who can motivate a team like no other, Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid would be a dream appointment for Arsenal if they look to move on from Wenger, with the Argentine inspiring Atletico to an unlikely title win and run to the Champions League final last season.

3) Rudi Garcia (AS Roma)

A manager doing fine work in Serie A with AS Roma, Rudi Garcia could be a good candidate to come in and replace Wenger at this stage, and he would surely welcome the chance to move from Italy to one of England’s biggest clubs.

4) Roberto Mancini (Unattached)

A manager who divides opinion, but possibly just the lind of disciplinarian this Arsenal side lacks at the moment as they become something of a soft touch under Wenger. Roberto Mancini has proven success in recent times and led Manchester City to a thrilling Premier League title in in 2011/12, as well as the FA Cup the season before that. Still without a club since leaving Turkish giants Galatasaray.

5) Ronald Koeman (Southampton)

Although he only just joined Southampton this summer, Ronald Koeman is doing a fantastic job at the Saints and could be a candidate worth looking at in the future if Arsenal do part company with Wenger anytime soon.

6) Roberto Martinez (Everton)

Although Everton are on a poor run of form at the moment, Roberto Martinez’s work at Goodison Park and at his previous club Wigan Athletic cannot be ignored, as the Spaniard has got his sides playing excellent attack-minded football very much suited to the modern game.

7) Roberto Di Matteo (Unattached)

Still without a club since leaving Chelsea, Roberto Di Matteo could be a gamble worth taking for Arsenal despite his relative inexeperience. Still, the Italian is seen as being very harshly sacked by Roman Abramovich just shortly after leading the club to an unlikely Champions League win as well as victory in the FA Cup final in the same season.
