Here is how CaughtOffside thinks Spurs will lineup at White Hart Lane.

GK – Michel Vorm

With it being the cup we expect Pochettino to give his backup goalkeeper another outing, especially when Vorm will be called upon in their next Europa League outing next week as well due to a suspension to Hugo Lloris.

RB – Kyle Naughton

After three weeks out with an ankle injury the full-back is fit to play against once more and should come in to replace Eric Dier.

CB – Federico Fazio

Fazio is also back in contention for a place in the starting XI and should take captain Younes Kaboul’s place with the Frenchman in need of a rest.

CB – Jan Vertonghen

The Belgium international is yet to convince Pochettino of his credentials and this could be the ideal opportunity to show the Argentine what he is capable of.

LB – Ben Davies

Danny Rose has established himself as first choice left-back at the Lane, but Davies is an up and coming youngster and could well impress against the Seagulls.

RM – Aaron Lennon

Has been used sparingly this term, but this should be a good platform to give the Englishman another chance.

CM – Benjamin Stambouli

Signed over the summer, but with a plethora of talent available in central midfield has been used sparingly and will get a rare opportunity.

CM – Ryan Mason

What a campaign it has been for the youngster so far who should retain his place in the middle.

LM – Andros Townsend

Nacer Chadli had a poor game against Newcastle and with Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela likely to be rested, Townsend will be able to grab the attention.

ST – Emmanuel Adebayor

Was suffering with a stomach bug, but assessments suggest that the striker should be fit to start against Brighton.

ST – Harry Kane

After netting a hat-trick in the Europa League for Tottenham we expect Pochettino to select Kane to spearhead his attack once more.
