The French international, who is currently playing for Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, has been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League.
He joined Lokomotiv last year, but this week has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Sources in France had claimed that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was interested in bringing the player to White Hart Lane in order to help shore up his shaky midfield.
But sources close to Tottenham have revealed that’s not the case. The north London club reportedly have no desire to bring the player back to the Premier League and have ruled themselves out of making an approach for him.
