The Gunners allowed the experienced German forward to join Inter on loan for the rest of this season, in a move which is likely to become permanent after the 29-year-old lost his place in the starting lineup this term.

Although Arsene Wenger’s side looks in dire need of strengthening given some poor results so far in this campaign, it looks as though it is only exits happening so far this winter as this potentially key trio heads for the Emirates Stadium exit.

The three players are as follows:

1) Yaya Sanogo

With Arsenal keen to send erratic youngster Yaya Sanogo out on loan to gain Premier League experience, Crystal Palace are believed to be among the frontrunners to sign the French striker, who only has one goal for the Gunners in his career so far. Still, with Podolski leaving, Sanogo’s exit would leave Wenger short of backup options upfront.

2) Joel Campbell

In another loan move, young Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell also seems to be on his way out as he is in talks with La Liga side Real Sociedad. Despite impressing at the World Cup this summer, Campbell has been unable to cement a place in the team this season and may leave to play more regularly.

3) Tomas Rosicky

No longer a regular in the Arsenal midfield, veteran Czech Republic star Tomas Rosicky could also be calling time on his long career with the Gunners as Greek giants Olympiakos show an interest in his services this January.
