The Brazilian international is one of the most highly-rated young players in the world at the moment, and has already moved for big money in the past when PSG snapped him up from AS Roma.

Still only 20 years of age, Marquinhos looks to have the ability to become one of the best defenders in the game, and has become a top target for United after recently falling out of favour in Laurent Blanc’s star-studded side.

The youngster is currently behind fellow Brazilians David Luiz and Thiago Silva in the PSG pecking order, and could be tempted to move on to another club to ensure he is playing regular first-team football.

It remains to be seen if the Red Devils will be willing to pay such a high amount for the player, though they are also linked with a number of other expensive targets after showing their financial strength in the transfer market last summer.
