Here is the top ten…

=8) Alberto Moreno, £13.2 million

Having signed for £12 million in the summer, the Reds are already in the process of making a profit on the Spaniard.

=8) Mario Balotelli, £13.2 million

This is not so for the former Manchester City man, who has already deprecated in value to the tune of £2.8 million.

=8) Dejan Lovren, £13.2 million

This pales in comparison to Lovren, who cost Brendan Rodgers £20 million when he signed!

7) Lazar Markovic, £14.96 million

This list of players’ values is fast turning into an indictment of Rodgers’ transfer policy, with Markovic dropping over 25% in price since joining in the summer.

6) Mamadou Sakho, £15.84 million

The Frenchman has come in to form in the last few months as part of a back three, but this still isn’t enough to match his £18 million original fee.

5) Adam Lallana, £19.36 million

The former Southampton man endured a tough start at Anfield due to injuries, but has started to come in to his own since getting regular game time. His £25 million fee still looks a bit much though.

4) Jordan Henderson, £20.24 million

A future club captain? Either way the England international has improved massively in the last season and a half.

=2) Philippe Coutinho, £22 million

In great form recently, Brendan Rodgers described his value as ‘frightening’. Could the 22-year-old improve even more in the future?

=2) Daniel Sturridge, £22 million

Since coming back from injury the forward has a massive difference to the Reds. No wonder he is worth so much.

1) Raheem Sterling, £24.6 million

Widely regarded as the future of the England team, the winger’s next club is less clear. Real Madrid have been linked to a mega money move for the youngster at times.
