Here’s the 10 biggest fights in Mexican football:

1) Toros Neza vs Jamaica, 1997

A friendly match that ended in a free-for-all fight.

2) Mexico vs Atletico de Madrid, 1993

A friendly game that ended in a fight involving involved the famous Mexican Goalkeeper Jorge Campos. The Spanish team ultimately won 2-0.

3) America vs Chivas, 1983 & 1986

Two clasicos between the biggest rivals in Mexican football, both of which ended with punches being thrown

4) America vs San Caetano, 2004

The fight was started by Cuauhtemoc Blanco during a Copa Libertadores game.

5) Chivas vs Everton, 2009

Another Copa Libertadores game, this time Chivas player Hector Reynoso spat at Sebastian Penco during the bird flu crisis in Mexico. Chivas were disqualified by CONMEBOL after the incident.
