GK: David Ospina

First choice in goal this season ahead of Wojciech Szczesny, David Ospina should remain number one next season after a string of strong performances.

DR: Hector Bellerin

A highly promising young right-back, Hector Bellerin suits Klopp’s attacking style of play perfectly and should improve further with him in charge.

DL: Nacho Monreal

A surprise performer this season, Nacho Monreal has been excellent for Arsenal and deserves to continue at left-back ahead of Kieran Gibbs.

DC: Mats Hummels

Linked with Arsenal in the past, Mats Hummels could be a great signing if he follows Klopp from Borussia Dortmund to the Emirates Stadium, replacing Per Mertesacker in defence.

DC: Laurent Koscielny

Still first choice, Laurent Koscielny could certainly form a fine defensive partnership with a player of Hummels’ quality at the back.

MC: Francis Coquelin

Still a key player in defensive midfield, Francis Coquelin deserves to start for Arsenal next season after his superb form this year.

MC: Ilkay Gundogan

Another long-time target for Arsenal, Ilkay Gundogan could be another smart buy from Dortmund and would provide everything the Gunners are currently lacking from the likes of Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey.

AMR: Mesut Ozil

In a free role from the right-hand side, Mesut Ozil could finally find his very best form under Klopp’s management, fitting his playing style perfectly as he settles in in English football after a slow start.

AML: Santi Cazorla

Again, given license to roam from out wide, Santi Cazorla should continue to start for Arsenal from the left flank after a great season.

AMC: Marco Reus

Given the central role behind the striker, Marco Reus would be a superb signing from Dortmund if the club could pull it off, with the German international one of the best attacking players in the world.

FC: Alexis Sanchez

A player in fine form this season, Alexis Sanchez has perhaps made a case for moving upfront after a great goalscoring record, with Olivier Giroud rotating with the Chilean.
