The most expensive transfer of all time, Gareth Bale is actually only worth around half the fee Real Madrid paid for him, and comes in 10th place on this list.

A great signing by Chelsea last summer, Cesc Fabregas is one of the most valuable midfielders in the world, coming 8th in this list.

A star striker at Chelsea, Diego Costa looks like firing the Blues to the title in his first season and would supposedly command a fee of £60.1m.

Only valued at just over £70m, Eden Hazard is clearly not worth the £200m that Mourinho thinks he is, though he is considered third most valuable in the world.

Perhaps due to his age, Cristiano Ronaldo is surprisingly far behind his rival Lionel Messi in second, valued at £95.2m.
