Liverpool rumours

Raheem Sterling has made it pretty clear he wants to leave Liverpool this summer, and he’s joined on this list by five other big names who want out of their clubs…

1) Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

A player ruining his reputation with Liverpool fans more and more by the day, Raheem Sterling is being targeted by Manchester City and has made it clear he will not sign a new contract with the Reds, and that he does not want to play under manager Brendan Rodgers anymore.

2) David de Gea (Manchester United)

Wanted by Real Madrid, David de Gea also wants the move and it has been speculated that the Manchester United goalkeeper could hand in a transfer request to leave Old Trafford before the start of the new season.

3) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

Wanted by Arsenal and Liverpool, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is one of the best talents on the market this summer and is yet to sign a new contract, with speculation suggesting he could also hand in a transfer request to make sure he moves clubs this year.

4) Christian Benteke (Aston Villa)

With a £32.5m release clause and interest in joining Liverpool, Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke could formally ask to leave the club this summer, which may benefit the Reds in terms of lowering Villa’s demands for the player.

5) Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

Unhappy at Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos has supposedly asked to be allowed to leave this summer after refusing to sign a new contract, with Manchester United on alert for the want-away Spanish centre-back.

6) Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli)

Although Napoli insist Arsenal and Liverpool must pay £67m to activate Gonzalo Higuain’s release clause, the Argentine striker wants out of the Italian club due to their poor season last year and may also hand in a transfer request if things continue like this.
