Man Utd: 4 in, 4 out as LVG plots finishing touches to build title-winning squad, with £67.5m quartet coming IN

LVG wants FOUR more signings as players near exits.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal looks set to continue his major squad rebuilding this summer with four more signings coming in as four more head for the exits.

The Red Devils have already been busy this summer, bringing in Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Matteo Darmian, but Van Gaal is not finished there.

The club could still be losing some key players this summer, and various sources state that they want to make sure replacements are brought in before the end of the transfer window:

Out – David de Gea

Still linked with Real Madrid, David de Gea could be on his way out of the club this summer in what would no doubt be a disappointing move.

In – Keylor Navas

However, coming in as his replacement in a swap deal could be talented Costa Rica shot-stopper Keylor Navas, who would be a great signing considering he wouldn’t command a transfer fee.

Out – Victor Valdes

An exit that Louis van Gaal has confirmed will happen, Victor Valdes has not endeared himself to his manager and is likely to join Turkish side Antalyaspor.

In – Sergio Romero

Available on a free, Sergio Romero could be another fine goalkeeper brought in by the Red Devils in a smart deal to solve this problem position, with Van Gaal likely to need two new faces in that role as two ‘keepers leave.

Out – Jonny Evans

Linked with a £10m exit, possibly to Everton, Jonny Evans is no longer good enough for this United side and is sure to be offloaded before long.

In – Nicolas Otamendi

Targeted in a £35m move from Valencia, Nicolas Otamendi’s immense form last season has seen him become one of United’s top defensive targets this summer.

Out – Rafael

Linked with Galatasaray, Rafael is likely to be sold after the signing of Darmian at right-back, and the Brazilian was already one who didn’t seem to feature in Van Gaal’s plans.

In – Christian Benteke

With a striker urgently needed after Robin van Persie’s move to Fenerbahce, Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke seems to be the top target up front.
