Arsenal clear out: Ex-Man Utd ace & Liverpool target to leave in six-man Gunners CULL

Ruthless Wenger set for Arsenal clear out.

Arsene Wenger could be embarking on a major Arsenal clear out in this summer’s transfer window, with recent reports linking as many as six big names with exits.

Not all of these will go down too well with the club’s fans, but it seems that Wenger may be making room for new signings and further spending as he prepares to let these six first-teamers move on ahead of the new season:

1) Danny Welbeck

Linked with a shock move to Turkish outfit Besiktas, Danny Welbeck could make a speedy exit from Arsenal after failing to shine in his first season since joining from Manchester United.

2) Santi Cazorla

Linked several times with Atletico Madrid, it could be that Santi Cazorla will be on his way out of Arsenal to replace Arda Turan at the La Liga club.

3) Mesut Ozil

Strongly linked as a top target for Juventus this summer, Mesut Ozil has not always found his best form in the Premier League and could be on his way out this summer for the right price.

4) Mathieu Flamini

Set for an imminent transfer to Galatasaray, Mathieu Flamini could be replaced by a top class defensive midfielder this summer as he no longer looks like establishing himself as a regular.

5) Theo Walcott

Wanted by Liverpool earlier this summer, Theo Walcott could still be on his way out of Arsenal after failing to agree a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.

6) Wojciech Szczesny

Supposedly on the verge of joining AS Roma on loan, Wojciech Szczesny is no longer part of Wenger’s plans after the arrival of Petr Cech in goal.
