Man United ‘ready to sign £73m Serie A trio’ in final weeks of the transfer window, with Arsenal & Liverpool targets

United to launch late spending spree.

Manchester United look set to spend another £73m on three new players before the end of the summer transfer window, according to recent speculation.

The Red Devils have already brought in five new players so far this summer, but Louis van Gaal has money to spend after allowing Angel Di Maria to join Paris Saint-Germain for £44m.

David de Gea is also likely to quit the club for Real Madrid for a fee in the region of £30m, and it looks like the club will spend big on three new buys from Italy’s Serie A to improve their squad…

1) Lucas Biglia (Lazio)

Valued at around £35m, Lazio midfield star and Arsenal target Lucas Biglia is on United’s radar after some concerns over Bastian Schweinsteiger’s fitness following a summer move from Bayern Munich.

2) Fernando Llorente (Juventus)

An ideal backup player up front, Juventus striker Fernando Llorente is available for just £8m this summer and has been linked several times with a move to Old Trafford, as well as with Liverpool and Sevilla.

3) Felipe Anderson (Lazio)

Worth around £30m, Lazio winger Felipe Anderson is another top talent from Italy who could head to United before the end of the summer, with the Brazilian starlet an ideal replacement for Angel Di Maria if a move for Pedro fails.
