With growing speculation that the Man Utd Reus deal could be revived in the January transfer window, here’s a look at the five Red Devils players who could lose their place if the Borussia Dortmund forward arrives at Old Trafford…
1) Wayne Rooney
With Reus able to play either up front or as a number ten, that’s two of Wayne Rooney’s main positions under threat as the England forward badly struggles to find top form for United this season.

2) Juan Mata
Despite being a key player for United at the moment, Juan Mata’s place would surely be under some threat if the world class Reus made the move to Old Trafford, as he can also play in any of his attacking midfield positions and out wide.
3) Adnan Januzaj
Loaned out to Borussia Dortmund this season, Belgian youngster Adnan Januzaj could eventually make his move to Germany permanent to help United land Reus.
4) Memphis Depay
Only signed from PSV this summer, Memphis Depay will have to get off to a blistering start to ensure he keeps his place in attack with Reus also challenging for a spot out wide, up front or behind the striker.
5) Ashley Young
A player already struggling to get into the team on a regular basis, Ashley Young would struggle even further to challenge for an attacking midfield place if Reus joined, though left-back could still be an option for him.
