A Liverpool FC steward collapsed during Sunday’s game against Manchester United after suffering a suspected heart attack.
The steward, who was male, was given treatment in one of Anfield’s photographers’ pits by staff from the St John Ambulance.
A Facebook post written by Reds supporter Christopher Rimmer, which has gone viral, claims that Liverpool’s club doctor also helped to resuscitate the man.

The Liverpool Echo report that the steward was taken to hospital and is doing ‘ok’.
United won the game 1-0 thanks to a late goal from former Everton striker Wayne Rooney.
