Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair set to leave the club on free transfer

Young Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair has reportedly told the club that he will walk away on a free transfer after turning down a new contract, according to the BBC.

The 19-year-old is highly rated by Reds fans, but he has struggled for playing time this season, and is now apparently prepared to leave in search of a move to Spain when his contract expires at the end of the current season.

Sinclair became the club’s youngest ever player when he made his debut back in 2012 aged just 16 years and six days, but has failed to get a foothold in the side and spent some time on loan with Wigan Athletic last term.

And he is seemingly aware that his career won’t progress the way he wants it to at Liverpool, and though Watford have been linked with his signature, he apparently has his heart set on a move to Spain instead.
