FA Cup draw: Chelsea face Man City

Posted by

We are into the business end of the 2015-16 FA Cup.

The draw for the fourth round has just been made in Milton Keynes, moments after Chelsea thrashed MK Dons 5-1.

Chelsea’s ‘reward’ for that emphatic victory is a home tie against Manchester City in the last 16.

Meanwhile, defending champions Arsenal will host Championship promotion favourites Hull City.

Fellow North Londoners Tottenham Hotspur are also at home. Spurs face Crystal Palace, who they have beaten twice in the Premier League this season.

The two League One sides remaining in the competition have both been given away ties. Peterborough will travel to Reading – if the Posh can overcome West Bromwich Albion in a replay – while Shrewsbury Town will tackle Manchester United on Shropshire soil.

Both Merseyside outfits will also be on the road. Should they overcome West Ham United, Liverpool will visit Blackburn Rovers. Everton, fresh from an easy win at Carlisle United, must go to Bournemouth, where they drew 3-3 in a crazy encounter back in November.

The only other game in the last 16 sees Watford welcome Leeds United to Vicarage Road.

Chelsea vs. Man City
Reading vs. West Brom or Peterborough
Watford vs. Leeds
Shrewsbury vs. Man Utd
Blackburn vs. Liverpool or West Ham
Spurs vs. Crystal Palace
Arsenal vs. Hull City
Bournemouth vs. Everton

All games will be played between February 19 and  22.
