Man City announce three loan deals before transfer deadline

Hours away from the transfer deadline in the January window, Manchester City have loaned out a pair of teen strikers and a developing midfielder for the remainder of the season.

On the Man City official Twitter page, the club confirmed that 18-year-old striker Patrick Roberts, 22-year-old midfielder Bruno Zuculini and 18-year-old striker Enes Unal have all been loaned out.

Roberts will join Celtic FC on an 18-month loan deal.

Zuculini will join AEK Athens until the end of the season.

Roberts is the only one of the three to have played for the Citizens this season, making three appearances this year. Unal and Zucilini played on loan to Middlesborough and Genk respectively.

In spite of the injuries to Kevin De Bruyne, Samir Nasri and Wilfried Bony, Man City intend to move forward with Kelechi Iheanacho but not force playing time onto their developmental starlets.
