Several Premier League clubs have been chasing Palermo winger Franco Vazquez for a while now. However, they may not need to do too much appealing as the Italian star is clearly not happy in Sicily.

According to The Daily Express, Vazquez has confirmed that he wants to leave Palermo and move to either the mainland of Italy or the Premier League. He name-dropped the three Premier League teams that had inquired about him: Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion.

“I will leave Palermo, my future will be 100% far away from Sicily,” Vazquez said. “I can confirm the words of the club president, I have no preference between Italy and the Premier League, I want to consider all offers. My agent is taking care of my future.”

Vazquez helped Palermo achieve promotion to Serie A in the 2013-14 season with Serie B. The following year he finished tied for the Serie A lead in assists with 10. This past season he was vital in helping Palermo staved off relegation once again.
