Liverpool wished former defender Sami Hyppia a happy birthday on the official club twitter account today.
The former Reds defender turned 43 today and enjoyed an illustrious playing career winning the UEFA Cup and the 2005 Champions League in Istanbul with Liverpool.

Hyppia was manager for Swiss outfit FC Zurich until he was sacked on 12 May 2016. The former Liverpool defender has also managed Brighton & Hove Albion and was part of the coaching staff at Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
